Not all superheroes are the same—everyone knows that! Take Eagle-Eye, for example, who can always find Dad’s glasses, the car keys, and the cellphone; or Micro-Wave, who heats up lunch and dinner with a single touch; or Factotum, who fixes anything by turning his hands into tools.
With Super-Duper, however, it’s a whole different story! Super-Duper is convinced he has extraordinary powers, such as making flowers grow (which actually grow on their own), moving the Sun through yoga (an activity that at least keeps him fit), or stopping the rain (something that sometimes happens after days of intense concentration), and so on.
There is, however, one person for whom Super-Duper truly is a superhero: his beloved Granny, whom he visits often and helps in every possible way. For her, he really does find a way to make flowers grow, move the Sun, stop the rain and, above all, he has the power to… make her laugh out loud!
A gentle story in which care and empathy for those we love make even the hardest and most unimaginable things possible.
