La Passeggiata d'Inverno is the sixth book in the series to mark "Primavera a Merano", an event that focuses on the extraordinary natural and cultural heritage of the area, to discover - or rediscover - Merano in a new and engaging way. The book will be published as part of the "Muoviti a Merano" / "Meran beWegt" 2020 project.

Following stories by Harriet Russell (2015), Katrin Stangl and Michael Heinze (2016), Steven Guarnaccia (2017), Alessandro Sanna (2018) and Noemi Vola (2019), Andrea Antinori tells the story of the city from the Winter Promenade. The project is inspired by the heritage of Ópla, the Children’s Book Archive of the Civic Library of Merano, which celebrated its 20 year anniversary in 2017.

Andrea Antinori was born in Recanati and lives in Bologna. He studied at the ISIA in Urbino and at the Escola Massana in Barcelona. Since 2013, he has worked with various Italian and international publishing houses. With Corraini Edizioni he published Is this a moose? (2015), A book about whales (2016), Christ's entry into Bruxelles (2017), L'arrivo di Santa Lucia (2018, with Noemi Vola) and The great battle (2019). In 2020 e 2017 he was among the illustrators selected for the Bologna Children’s Book Fair. In 2019, his book The great battle won the “Best International Picture Book” award at the Shanghai Book Fair.
